Your Instructor
Lydia is an entrepreneur and experienced professional very knowledgeable on matters of the human mind and body. In education, she graduated in May 2008 from Belmont Abbey College and holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Psychology. Always eager to increase knowledge, Lydia is also Licensed in the State of North Carolina to practice Clinical and Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. Lydia’s massage education was obtained from Southeastern Institute of Charlotte for Massage Therapy; graduating as Valedictorian of her class. Having a thirst for knowledge and wanting to expand her understanding about the science of people both intellectually and physiologically is what drew Lydia to pursue a career in Massage Therapy. In a short time, Lydia has gained a wealth of knowledge in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone, Injury Management, Neuromuscular (NMT) and Sciatic pain relief. Along with this knowledge, Lydia is able to build and maintain client relationships due to her understanding of ethical behavior within the massage industry. Due to this collection of education along with field experience, Lydia is privileged and certified by the National Board of Massage Therapy to teach Ethics and other subjects to licensed massage practitioners.
